Don't worry, you've received wBNB on your wallet. Our BSC bridge operates with BEP-20 tokens. BNB is a native asset of Binance Smart Chain. In order to use it inside Genshiro, you need to wrap it. When you deposit BNB on your wallet, system will automatically wrap your BNB for you. During this process your native BNB will be wrapped to BEP-20 wBNB. However when you withdraw your BNB, you need to unwrap it manually.
wBNB stands for "wrapped BNB". Wrapped BNB (wBNB) is a token on Binance Smart Chain where the price is pegged to BNB at a rate of 1 wBNB = 1 BNB.
We've got you covered here. All you have to do, is to complete several steps via wBNB contract. Below you can find wBNB contract address:
wBNB contract address:
Once clicked, navigate to the "Contract" tab, select "Write Contract" there and click on "Connect to Web3".
The pop-up window will appear, prompting you to select your wallet. For the sake of our example, we will use Metamask wallet.
Next, under the "Contract" tab, select "Read Contract", scroll down a bit, until you see:
4. balanceOf
In the "4. balanceOf" section input your address, where you have your wBNB, and click on the Query.
Once clicked on "Query", you will see your wBNB balance in proper format under "uint256". Please copy it.
Next, navigate to the "Contract" tab and click on the "Write Contract". Make sure that your address is connected. Then, scroll down a bit, until you see "3.withdraw".
Under "3.withdraw" tab, paste your wBNB balance (which you've copied previously) and click "Write". You will need to sign the transaction and that's it! You have successfully unwrapped your wBNB and turned it into BNB.
